Of course the money goes out of your account before you discover that their cheque is dishonoured. This scam is not peculiar to Renaults, all makes are targeted, so beware of any enquiry to purchase from overseas and certainly never, ever part with money or a vehicle until you are 100% certain that you have been paid. Some cheques take over 6 months to properly clear. Be extremely cautious of Western Union Transfers. These even appear to go into your bank, just to be withdrawn later.

WANTED

I wonder if can help me I am trying to locate an automatic gearbox torque converter or box with converter attached.
 
I believe the push button Jaeger autobox was used on R8 & R10 models from 1965 to 1971 and that the clutch was replaced by a Powder Ferromagnetic Coupler.

WANTED

I am hunting for a distributor for my 1961 Renault Floride (Type R1092). The car is basically a special-bodied Gordini-Dauphine (4 cyl, 845cc) and retains the 6-volt electrical system. I believe the fault with the present distributor (it's the original S.E.V.distributor, the part number is 8542377) is with the centrifugal advance mechanism of springs and weights in the base of the distributor. The external diameter of the base is 65mm. The length of the lower spigot (the part which goes into the engine crankcase) is 29mm.

Maybe all it needs is two new centrifugal advance springs?

WANTED - COLOUR CODE

I am looking for help in tracking down Renault green colour.  I own the ex. John Watson Brabham BT30 which he raced in 1971 in a green colour which I know from Watson was from the Renault range. Maybe Butterfly Yellow I don't know. How would I track down or see Renault colours from the period 1969 - 1971?

The part he needs is a dynamo, the existing one is a Ducellier DUCELL 7348A although according to owners manual something similar would do.
