These are the main club events where the show is run or organised  by members and where the club will have a dedicated presence and stand where possible. Additional benefits may be available at some shows. The Weather shown is for guidance only and shows only the next 3 days which may not yet be the date of the show. Some shows are subject to confirmation from the organisers so please contact the name shown prior to making firm plans. Final events list will be published in December's Renotes. However please check here for updates. Some events will be members only. If you wish to run an event or regional meeting please email anyone on the committee.

Joint Renault Clubs Rally (ROC & RCCC) National Rally 12/13th June 2010

The first Joint National Rally will be based at the bubble car museum in Lincolnshire
 

This will be a weekend event with camping for 60 units 8 with electric hook-up B&B available, and a travel lodge about three miles away.
Bring your Renault auto Jumble, possible Renault model stall , entry to the museum and road runs to places of interest . There is an on site cafe, Fish and chip supper available Friday night £5
Barbecue Saturday night £5. large indoor marquee with wooden floor power and light in case it rains. If there are enough numbers we may have live music on the Saturday night.
One of the road runs will include East Kirkby WW2 bomber station. Avro Lancaster Bomber NX611 'Just Jane'
We will be looking at a number of routes for the runs out to offer something for different interests e.g. a brewery and historic houses.
The Event will be Sat and Sun12th and 13th June 2010 those camping can arrive Friday night and stay over as long as they wish at £7 per night camping £10 per night with electric hookup.

There will be a prize for the classic car driven the furthest distance to the event.

 Why not extend your visit and explore Lincolnshire and the coast..

If you wish you could take some free time over the weekend to visit local attractions such as Tattershall Castle or perhaps Belton House  which are both close by.

Renault Owners Club AGM

This is taking place at the Heritage Motor Centre at Gaydon (CV35 0BJ). The same day there will be a Historic and Classic Car Show on by the Museum. Entry will be free (normally £9) to the museum for club members wishing to attend. We have our own room booked.

The New Year is here and I think its time to get this ball moving. We are looking for Renault modified car owners to enter into this competition, if you are interested please read on.

TeamScorpio.net Presents "The OSCARS" Car Modified Awards at the Ace Cafe London on the 3rd April 2010.

There will be top Prizes to be awarded in 5 separate categories:-

> Loudest Car
> Best Ice Set up
> Best Bodywork
> Best Engine Bay
> Worst Car of the Night

Entertainment on the night will include:-

> TS Crew ( Members of the National B-Boy Champions 2009 )
> DJ Dexplicit & DJ Grillzh
> Our Sensual Promo Girls
> Special Guest Judges ( including Ian ICEMAN Pinder)
> Free Give a ways
> Also food and drink provided by the amazing Ace Cafe London
> Bass Testers
> And lots more

FAST CAR, MAX POWER, Totally Modified and Stiff Magazine attending, with filming provided by Urban Fox Films.

We will be expecting a 3000 turnout.

So get there early to avoid disappointment as we can anticipate this to be a ROAD BLOCK EVENT.........If you were at Flight Of The Navigator you will understand!!!!!

Silverstone is conveniently situated right in the heart of the UK, approximately 90 minutes north of London and 60 minutes south of Birmingham. Road access is exceptionally easy along the A43 dual carriageway from either the M40 or M1.

By public transport, the nearest stations are Banbury or Milton Keynes, both of which offer fast connections to destinations throughout the country.

  • From the A1, A52, or A607 to Grantham, take the A607 then A153 for about 7 miles towards Sleaford.
  • At Ancaster turn left at the traffic lights and follow the B6403 for about 3 miles.
  • Just before the junction for the A17 turn in to your left where you will see a garage and the Byard's Leap Cafe. Follow the gravel drive to the right of the bungalow to the Museum.
OR
  • From the A1, or A46 to Newark, take the A17 for about 17 miles towards Sleaford.
  • Watch out for the "Hurlingham Business Park" sign on the left.
  • Then, just after the speed camera turn right onto the B6403 towards Ancaster, then immediately turn in right again where you will see the Byard's Leap Cafe. Follow the gravel drive to the right of the bungalow to the Museum.

Crich is conveniently situated close to many of the main routes running through the Midlands. This makes it readily accessible from Sheffield, Derby, Nottingham, Leicester, Stoke-on-Trent, Birmingham and beyond.

Just 8 miles from junction 28 of the M1, Crich can also be easily accessed using the A38, the A6, the A61 and the A52. Map showing our location.

By Public Transport

The nearest rail station is Whatstandwell, from which it is a STEEP uphill walk of about 1 mile. Alternative there are rail stations at Belper, Matlock and Alfreton which are reachable by a local bus service (limited Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday service) or by Taxi.
